When the pitta dosha (the elemental energies of fire and water) is out of balance, we can experience too much physical and mental heat. Some of the symptoms of a pitta imbalance include excessive sweating, irritability, agitation, and mental intensity. To bring pitta back into balance through our yoga practice, we need to release heat and soften the tendency to grip and overdo. Join Sarah Guglielmi for this targeted practice that incorporates twisting postures, dynamic standing poses, side stretches, and a guided relaxation in savasana.
