Indra, lord of the mind, wields the weapon of vajra—a vibratory power and a ritual instrument in Tibetan Buddhism. For some, the pose may serve as a meditation seat. For others it’s an ideal counterpose for standing postures, a refresher for tired legs, and an easy pose in which to explore neutral core alignment. We’ll investigate propping to facilitate ease and comfort for knees, ankles, and hips, while encouraging range of motion and noting integrated energetic alignment and awareness.
